This ersatz-charcoal and ink wash sketch depicts a singular dogwood tree that I walk past every day. After a recent snowstorm isolated the tree's dark limbs against the light background, it reminded me of a Franz Kline abstract expressionist painting. So I whipped out my iPhone and captured the scene that I used as the inspiration for this new digital drawing.
The resulting hi-resolution monochromatic giclée will be archivally matted and framed in either a white or black enamel painted wood (1/2") frame with UV blocking, shatterproof acrylic glazing. Or, if you work with a local frame shop, order the print without a matte or frame. I even ship it directly to your framer.
